Will Chelsea agree to sell Cesc Fabregas to Galatasaray?

According to AMK, Conte has given the green light for Fabregas to leave Stamford Bridge as he does not have any long term role to play in the squad. Apparently, Galatasaray is prepared to pay 4.8 million-a-season contract.  This is an indication that Igor Tudor sees some value in this player who is approaching his twilight years in his career. He will do well if he settles at a club that gives him all the game play that he deserves though.

Eden Hazard is not for sale

Real Madrid is in apparent talks with Eden Hazard in a blatant poaching attempt since Zinedine Zidane's recommendation back in 2012.  The Belgian's recent performance have reaffirmed their interest along with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. This may entirely depend on Antonia Conte's interest in James Rodriquez who is deemed to leave the Spanish Capital and has the euphoric Stamford Bridge in mind.

However, Chelsea has reacted by renewing Hazard with a new contract and is confident that he may not consider the Madrid offer.

Chelsea need 22-year-old Lukaku back and are discreetly certain of landing him — despite the fact that Everton are prone to request more than twofold the £28million they paid them for him in July 2014.

Manchester United and German pair Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are additionally inspired by the marksman, who has scored 25 objectives this season — including three that have helped Everton into this present weekend's FA Cup semi-last against Man United.

Lukaku, who initially joined Chelsea from Anderlecht in his Belgian country for £18m in 2011 however just ever played one Premier League match for them in three years, never needed to leave Chelsea and still trusts he could benefit  the club.

He shook Everton a month ago when he conceded: "For me, things are going great at Everton at this moment. I can get to be top scorer of the Premier League. Be that as it may, yes, I could be leaving the club in the late spring."

He had netted a further 55 times for the Merseyside club in 88 appearances. The Toffees have, however, underachieved in the Premier League this season and stand eleventh with five games to go — leaving manager Roberto Martinez under pressure.

In spite of the fact that Lukaku at the time affirmed claims from his dad, Roger , a month ago that United and Bayern are interested in him, he is additionally very much aware of Chelsea's alluring alternative.

Did Jose Mourinho trust Chelsea players too much?

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas stated Jose Mourinho failed at Stamford Bridge this season because he put "too much trust" in his squad.

Mourinho, 53, was sacked in December, with the club one point above the relegation zone, seven months after he led them to the Premier League title.

Fabregas, 28, says the players "let him down" after being given extra holiday as reward for winning the league.

"I have huge respect for him," the Spain international told Sky Sports.

"The biggest problem was he trusted us too much, gave us more holiday because we were champions and we let him down. That was the main reason he had to go - and for that, myself and the team feel bad."

Quite possible but why this this never happen during the first season though.

Chelsea prepared to offer Antoine Griezmann substantial contract to seal deal!

The France worldwide has scored a noteworthy 29 objectives for Diego Simeone's men this season, with the London club edgy to land him as they hope to spruce up their striking choices.

Also, Abramovich's delegates will offer a lucrative contract to guarantee the arrangement completes, as indicated by The Mirror.

Whether the Frenchman would trade the Spanish capital for an absence of Champions League football remains to be seen.

He has developed into one of Europe's top strikers and an effective Euro 2016 could see the larger brands endeavoring to prise him away.

Chelsea 2 : Manchester City 1

These colossal brands are among the highest spending in the world over the past 10 years and we probably witnessed the most expensive fixture ever.
With less than a minute remaining Joe Hart and Matija Nastasic make a brazen mess of a clearing punt from William. When the hapless centre-back attempts to header the ball back to the goalkeeper he unbelivably nods it back to him. A determined Torres, who was an absolute dynamo throughout the match, never gave up and his efforts were subsequently converted into a goal.
Not quite a convincing victory but would surely prove to be invaluable in Chelsea campaign this season. Chelsea supporters will also be rest assured that under Mourinho’s wing Torres will progressively return to true form.

What will Demba Ba’s role be at Chelsea next season?

Although Neymar and Radamel Falcao will be going somewhere else attention may be focused on Edison Cavani of Napoli and Steven Jovetic of Fiorentina or perhaps Robert Lewondowski who is heavily linked to Manchester United. This means that Ba and Torres could find themselves on the bench or on their way out. The sensible move for Torres would be to off load Torres in exchange for Cavani where he could reunite with Benitez at Napoli.
Ba will, however, remain as they would need another striker even if a big name joins the squad. His role will be secondary of course. Maybe his move to Chelsea was after all pointless as the club is still searching for the ultimate Drogba replacement. Ba could also possibly be a surprise casualty of Mourinho’s return to Chelsea unless he can change the manager’s mind.

The explosive Hazard ready for Spurs clash

Rafael Benitez confirmed that the injured Harzard will be available to apply his trade to face the rampaging Spurs in a vital mid-week clash on Wednesday. However, John Obi Mikel and Ryan Bertand are not due to persistent injuries.
Spurs have become more that a mild irritation as Chelsea enters a points frenzy to consolidate their Champions League position. The indomitable Gareth Bale, AVB’s trump card and the League’s most influential player could possibly snatch any hopes of a return to Europe greatest stage. Hopefully, Hazard’s pace and superb finishing and inability to be dispossessed easliy could be a key personnel boost.
Chelsea is currently in third on 68 points with three games left, one point ahead of Arsenal, who have two games remaining, three points ahead of fifth placed Spurs – they do, however, have an inferior goal difference!
Andre Villas Boas, sacked by Chelsea 14 months ago, confirms that he feels no special attachment to his former club. He was not given enough time “so it means absolutely nothing”

Benitez remains professional ahead of Anfield assignment

In recent years, Liverpool always raised their game against us even though they were damned to a mid table finish. Liverpool has only lost two of their last 12 league meetings although Chelsea are unbeaten in the last 5 encounters with 4 wins and a draw. In 33 meetings in various competitions in the last eight seasons Chelsea won 13 of those games and Liverpool 12. Suarez needs one more goal to become the first Liverpool player score 30 goals in a season in all competitions since Torres in 2007-08.
Chelsea travels to Liverpool tomorrow to perhaps, considering current circumstances, validate their top 4 position. Benitez will certainly change his side once again from the mid-week squad that played against Fulham. Changes that will be prevalent would be to rest players and not necessarily an edited formation as surely Ba and Torres upfront would keep the beleaguered Liverpool defence busy. Benitez, manager of Liverpool from 2004 to 2010, insists that he is a professional and will do his best on beating his former employers.

The most important goal scored by Chelsea

This was a rare goal scored by Marcel Desailly on Sunday 11 May 2003 against Liverpool. It was the goal that earned Chelsea a place in the Champions League and a subsequent cash boost. The match was so important that the chief executive, Trevor Birch delivered a spirited speech before the game. At the time Birch was seeking new investors and two months later Roman Abramovich saw enough potential in Chelsea to buy the club. On Thursday 26 June 2003 intense discussions pursued with Roman Abramovich and by Tuesday 1 July the deal to buy the club was made. Abramovich’s team conducted the assessment of the club and soon discovered that the available players could challenge the best in the league. All he needed was a world class manager –
“I think it meant everything to the club to win that game. Who knows whether Mr Abramovich would have been as interested if we hadn’t have been in Europe? I said that there are only a few times that your character is really tested, this is one of them. This could be the difference between staying at the top table of football or drifting into oblivion. Now is the time for you boys to step forward and prove your worth.”
Trevor Birch, chief executive (2005)

Benitez weary of December result

Squad rotation will be expected during the busy season as Chelsea will have four more games to play in nine days. West ham might not be a straight forward result today though as back in early December, the first away game for Benitez, Chelsea suffered a demoralizing defeat having led at the interval.
Benitez seems assured that the squad has grown more familiar with each other and the new players have gained valuable experience in the league thus far. The improved sharpness in front of goal evident in the last few outings will greatly help our cause. Although what the team really needs is the usual grit and determination – from the fans as well.

Chelsea vs West Ham: Pre-match briefing

Chelsea have played 20 games more than West ham this season and prior to the most recent history had lost five in a row away from home. Tomorrow’s game is a must win situation as the three points could prove vital for a top four finish. It could be a tricky assignment for Benitez who will have to overcome physical and mental fatigue pestering the squad during this busy period. Chelsea is currently two points behind their neighbours Spurs, who have now become a mild irritation, with a game in hand and five ahead of Arsenal in fifth.
The victory over Steaua earlier the week included Chelsea’s 300th goal in UEFA matches, excluding the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, a tournament outside the organization’s jurisdiction, scored by Juan Mata. His impressive stats now read as 18 goals this season and 30th overall.

David Luiz maintains positive attitude during busy period

Chelsea’s progression into the Europa league quarter finals means that the club could play another energy sapping 18 games this season. In fact, it is a new club record as the minimum amount of games is 66. David Luiz expressed his confidence that the club can cope with this demanding schedule which commences tomorrow in a League game against Allardyce’s West Ham.
Chelsea will be facing a team rested since March 2 and have played just four times since the beginning of February whereas the Blues have played 11 during the same period. Luiz wishes, however, to end this week with a great result on Sunday.
Considering squad limitations such as fatigue and amount of players available to Benitez he wants to stay on the pitch for his beloved Chelsea. With the international break ahead, Luiz will be facing Italy in Geneva and returning to Stamford Bridge as Brazil meet Russia. Good Luck!
